The room lit up when she walked in.
With childlike innocence and giggles
She moved like a butterfly,
Brightening up everything & everyone around her.
She was such a joy to just watch.

She found joy in giving so much for nothing in return,
While you confused stuff with stuff that really mattered.
But now she has left, leaving you orphaned.

You cry your heart out, refusing to say goodbye.
Longing for a chance… for one last, long embrace.
Just one more glimpse to say Thank You..,
Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve - regret cuts like a knife.

She was there when you first saw the world,
But now she is only there when you close your eyes,
Sad, she is only visible… so invisible,
And fades away as soon you open your eyes.
Like someone sang, the good ones die young.

In loving memory of my beautiful beautiful Chitta who left on 11/21/2022.
Will miss you till my last breath Chitta.
